Frank Scaturro Calls for Action on Kidnapped Students

CARLE PLACE, NY— Frank Scaturro, Republican and Conservative 4th Congressional District candidate, calls on the United States government to assist in the return of three kidnapped teenagers, one reportedly an American citizen, in Israel.

Scaturro said, “We stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide in condemning in the strongest terms the recent kidnappings of 3 Jewish students—Gilad Shaar, Eyal Yifrach, and Naftali Frenkel—in Israel by Palestinian terrorists. We join the government of Israel in holding the Palestinian Authority’s president, Mahmoud Abbas, responsible for the safe return of these students to their families.”

He added, “The Obama administration, with the support of Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice, and John Kerry, ignored Israel’s repeated warnings of the dangers of trusting the Palestinian Authority. This administration has referred to Abbas as a ‘true partner for peace.’ Last week, Fatah signed a unity agreement with the Hamas terrorist organization, which was supported by this administration. Again, Israel’s warnings were ignored.”

“We call on President Obama, Susan Rice, and John Kerry to condemn the kidnapping of Gilad Shaar, Eyal Yifrach, and Naftali Frenkel, and to demand the immediate safe return of the students, with the threat of cessation of any and all financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority until they are returned safely.”
